Updates

Today in math class the students practiced adding and subtracting multidigit numbers. I have noticed that some students are having difficulty mastering this concept. I have added some links to websites with math games that could assist the students in mastering this skill. The students also have access to Everyday Math Online which has a lot of games they can play alone or with a partner.

Tomorrow Mrs. Hensley will be having her science classes perform plays about life cycles. We will be "attempting" to video each play and upload it on the blog so that parents can view them.

Let the blogging begin!!

Hello All! As technology is becoming a bigger part of education I believe my students should have every opportunity to experience it and therefore I have created this blog for our classroom. Through this blog students and parents will be able to see what is going on in our classroom. I plan to blog daily to let parents know what their students have been doing in class. I also plan to incorporate videos of the students at work into our blog. I believe this will be a wonderful experience for the students and myself!
